Test video with DXG-595V in 720p with EIS (electronic Image Stabilization) on, read description

This was shot free hand without a tripod. This was shot inside of our dorm room where the lighting isn’t the best for video, so that will hopefully give you an idea of how the camera performs under low light conditions. When I was video taping the guitar I turned the light on, which works very well at close distances (but what do you expect?). I do like the sound from the camera, I think it comes out nicely. However, I will be returning the camera. The format of the movies is .mov, which does not work with Windows Movie Maker or the other video editing software that I have (Arcsoft Showbiz DVD 2). I know they aren’t exactly top-notch programs, but it’s what I have, and this will not work with them. The videos will produce in Showbiz, but there’s no sound. The same kind of thing with the included software: the video will produce, but the actual video will lag behind the sound (as in they don’t match up). I’m sure there’s a way to fix it, but I want something a little bit more reliable. They recommend at least a 2.8 GHz processor, so that might be the problem (mine is a 2.2 GHz). In all, great camera for SINGLE SHOT videos. If you’re an amateur looking to edit videos, you might want to find a different camera. The HD is probably the kicker for the whole thing. But don’t let the whole HD factor get you, there are plenty of cameras out there that can take excellent looking videos that will probably look just as good as this camera’s video in the long run. I am going to go

How do I make an FPS-perspective video? (using real actors)?

How can I use my video camera to capture footage from my [literal] point-of-view, to simulate the perspective seen in first-person video games?

What are some practical methods of achieving this point-of-view using my digital camcorder?

P.S. – 1) I don’t care about special/visual effects such as gun effects, etc.
2) The camcorder I’m using is an Aiptek IS-DV (it’s the size of my palm, here’s a pic: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41K9CMDGJHL._SL500_.jpg)
3) For those of you who aren’t familar with FPS games, here’s an example of the perspective I’m looking for, although I’m sure you probably know, from the context, what I’m talking about anyway: http://www.gamecyte.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/05/combat-arms-m16-warhead-800.jpg
