I would like to get a digital camcorder/digital camera for him don’t have alot of money

Im looking at different cameras and am trying to find a good camera with good sensor resolution, optical zoom, and night vision and is one that looks nice and doesn’t look deformed like aiptek camcorders…well my first question is if 680 kpix for sensor resolution is good…and my second is if there is a camcorder with all those functions and is around $300 or less.

All the sites that i’ve seen it on has had mostly good reviews. have any of you bought one? how do you like it?

I’ve been looking into buying a camcorder to record my bands shows. I need something 125$ or less. I really want something that has good audio (obviously) and can capture a good picture in dark places. The venues I play in tend to be dark. I have been looking at Aiptek camcorders but I’m worried I’m going to buy something that isn’t worth the money. Does anyone have any suggestions on camcorders?

I want to purchase this camera that is by Aiptek, it is model DV 4500and it had 4 megapixels, its a digital camera and camcorder, and it also has an mp3 player, voice recorder, and it also works as a online camera, its 89.99 at Target and 109.99 at Walgreens. I just want to know if it’s a good buy. I want to know about how many songs you can get in a 512mb card. I am planning to buy a dv cam and I found that pocket or mini dv cams are good to my budget than normal dv cams. Also unknown brands are a lot cheaper than popular brands such as Canon and JVC. Here in the Philippines I got confused in choosing between Aiptek and Brica products. Which brands are good quality and is durable and dependable and is legit too?.I came across DV cams that is multi-purpose like having mp3,games,voice recorder and etc which degrades or limiting the original function which is Video Recording. I had been into many stores and a lot of them are Aiptek and Brica.
