Computer Drivers and an Aiptek DV 5900: How can I get the computer to see it??
I bought an Aiptek DV 5900. I have Windows XP Home Ed, and I installed the camera’s cd and software, and tried using it as a web cam, but Yahoo (AOL and MSN too) do not ’see the camera’. I went to the Control Panel and clicked on Scanners and Cameras, trying to add the camera to it, but I can’t find the .inf file ANYWHERE that it needs when I have to browse for it (no, my camera does not show up in the list the computer suggests). How or where is this driver stored?!?! Thanks!
I tried updating the drivers 3 times already. It didn’t work. I still can’t find the .inf file itself in order for the computer to get the information it wants. Would it be on the disk itself or in the driver folders, or where? Yes, I did copy them out of the zip folder into one I made for them.
