Telling the world about my new breakthrough of my tough video-making life: the video camera! I bought it on amazon.com for about $85 with Amazon Prime. If you like the quality and stuff, it’s called “Aiptek IS-DV 5 Megapixel Digital Camcorder and MP3 Player” at Amazon. You should also buy a 1 gb SD card to have lots of extra space.

here is the link. I am going to use is simply for the purpose of making videos for YouTube, and maybe some occasional digital pics.

Has anyone or does anyone have any experience with this video camera? If so waht is your opinion on it. Thanks!

I have an Aiptek digital camera/camcorder. I was going through tryign to change my settings and I clicked on format and it erased all my pictures. I didn’t know that meant reboot. I had 116 pictures on there from over the weekend and I wanted to know if I could get them back. They were on a 256 MB memory card. (dane-elec SD) name brand. is there any recovery or anything like restoring them or… anyway I can get the back!?!?!?

How come when i plug my aiptek camera into my tv to record a show it says no signal,and yes i picked the av in plzzzzzzzz Help!
I forgot to say that when i plug it in it also says no signal.

There is an RCA red-white-yellow cable which has a small 1/8″ plug for recording from the DVD/VCR . This works, but does not give me the optimal record time in the QVGA mode.
I guess what I’m getting at is , is it possible to get more of the movie on my SD card which the camera can read? I’m assuming it has to be in the camera to have the same ‘format’?
