I want a camera that is about $200 to use for YouTube?
I’m thinking these models:

I like the mic jack on the Aiptek. I have a shotgun mic from 5 years ago that I used on my mini DV camcorder (now broken).
I like the fact that the Aiptek comes with editing software, though it is my understanding there are some freeware programs just as good.
I like the Sony because it is a better respected brand name.
Which would you choose? Why? Thanks!
If I only had $100 to spend, I’d choose this one…

I’d like a camera for $99.95. Any ideas?
I like your choices; although, the Kodak Zi8 is a great camera choice. If you are more of the adventure type, you might want the Kodak Zx1. :http://store.kodak.com/store/ekconsus/en_US/pd/Zi8_Pocket_Video_Camera/productID.156585800 http://store.kodak.com/store/ekconsus/en_US/pd/Zx1_Pocket_Video_Camera/productID.145117100
Let me start you off by eliminating one of your choices for you: The Sony Webbie (it is name brand, true, but it’s basically just a cheap-quality toy).
Okay, so that leaves the Aiptek Action-HD and DXG-595V.
I currently own a DXG-595V, and I also own an older Aiptek camera. I have to say though, from my experience, Aiptek is the more reliable brand.
The DXG-595V does not have a mic input, so if you already have a mic, please go with the Aiptek camcorder. Believe me, I have compared those exact two cameras before, and their HD video quality is just about the same (so, the mic input is the deciding factor).
