I have a Pocket DV5900. I want to use it as a web cam. I downloaded the software at aiptek.com. but when i open it from my desk top it says fail to connect device. what am i doing wrong? I also have a Dell, windows vista. and i read the manual for it. and on step 5 it says after the codec installation is complete, the program will prompt you to install Direct X 8.0 or above. this doesnt show up for me. steps 1-4 work perfect. step 5 never shows up.
I’m using WindowsMe and want to record a DVD to an AIPTEK brand camera. Can I go direct through USB to Camera?
There is an RCA red-white-yellow cable which has a small 1/8″ plug for recording from the DVD/VCR . This works, but does not give me the optimal record time in the QVGA mode.
I guess what I’m getting at is , is it possible to get more of the movie on my SD card which the camera can read? I’m assuming it has to be in the camera to have the same ‘format’?
Behind the scenes with the Computer Coach
This is a new public access show I have been helping out on. It is called The Computer Coach and is produced by Dan Whitford and hosted by John Harris. I shot this on February 14, 2009 with the Aiptek video camera my wife bought me.
